Welcome to Old Painted Furniture

Over the last ninety years and spanning three generations we have been buying, selling and restoring English antique furniture. Over the last fifteen years we have focused on the ever increasing demand for distressed painted finishes on pine, mahogany and oak, covering a wide range of styles and periods.

Each piece of furniture is fully restored before being painted, using hand mixed flat matt emulsions so no two pieces are the same. We finish them with a beeswax and they are sympathetically distressed.
