A very nice large painted pine early 19th Century housekeepers cupboard. This cupboard is a very useful with lots of storage for linen, clothes or even food as a larder cupboard. Later added plinth and new pine shelving inside.
Swing latch holds right door and working lock and key on left. Replaced painted beech knobs.
Painted in mid grey and distressed in keeping with the piece. Painted white inside to keep a fresh, clean finish. Waxed throughout for protection.
All of our furniture is treated, fully restored and sealed before painting. We have established a high reputation for our choice of colours and finishes. Using flat matt emulsion finished with a variety of waxes, this is combined with a sympathetic and authentic distressed finish appropriate to each selected piece.
